Vanguard Advocacy Associates, Inc. was created by Kelly Caradonna Harlow to assist parents and families in meeting the individualized educational needs of their children. A Florida certified teacher specializing in both Exceptional and General Education, Kelly holds over 25 years' experience in the direct instruction of children in grades K-12. 

         

She currently maintains multiple active Florida certifications at both the elementary and secondary levels and is also ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) endorsed. In 2004, Kelly was accredited as a National Board Certified Teacher by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards, a designation she maintained proudly for 10 years. Kelly obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education K-8 from Kean University of New Jersey. She is also a parent and grandparent of special needs children.

         

Vanguard Advocacy was born out of a combination of Kelly's personal experience as a parent of special needs children and her desire as an ESE teacher to help all children access the educational tools and resources needed to achieve their individual goals.
